Summer Change

It all began one simple summer day
Boredom makes people do weird things
They would never normally do
So you learn to deal with it
But on that day not long ago
I met a friend I hardly remembered
it was great to talk to him again
But he had changed since we had last met
It wasn't neccessarily a good change
But then again it wasn't bad
He was different than I remembered
And acted as if he weren't
Time brings change and change brings pain
Now my friend and I are strangers

I don't know if today is a good day, or if yesterday was, or if tomorrow will be, but I'd like to think so.
