True visions appear Through dark clouds Forming due to emptiness Clustering to form a hovering reminder Of times when life meant something Naive times of my being When I saw everything clearly Pure as a gown of white On a virgin’s wedding day Sacrificing beliefs Rituals of the mind To keep virtue in the eye Of the one who sees truth With no blocks, no covers But sees the world nude Stripped of everything it stands for Leaving only the true pains Of those who suffer Struggling to get by On a loaf of bread And water from the nearby stream Leaving them outcast From everything normal But are any of us normal? Through the clouds, though I see a twirling light I take a deep breath Proceeding into the darkness On my last bit of faith Alone...* "In life you must dance like no one is watching, sing like no one is listening and love like it's never going to hurt..." |

I told you this before but I thought I would reply anyhow... This was a great poem! I liked your usage of words...! Keep it up! ~Jess "If a thing is worth doing at all, it is worth doing badly." -Gustav Holst |

I really like this one. I remember being there when you wrote it...haha...but anyway...really nice job! I like it a lot! Love's. As I smile at everyone else, I'm dying inside... ~Me |
