Closing my eyes I remember everything All the hugs All the kisses All the words All the times you said you loved me But opening my eyes I remember this The reality of everything How much you hurt me How much pain you have caused my heart How much you said you loved me Only to betray me Betraying my heart and love But that was all it was Words Love didn't mean anything to you It was a word you threw around It was a word that could make my heart weaken It was all that could hurt me Vulnerability Now, beneath all my smiles All my laughs All my jokes Lies my tears, my wounds, my pain that you have caused Something time only heals But hasn't enough time already passed But the reality of everything hits me again I love you too much to let you go Though all the pain and hurt are caused by you I still love you Still wanting you Still longing for your touch It is time to let you go.
