Listen here you wear friendships so well You should be walking down the runway Design your very own clothin' line 'Cause your fashion makes pain go astray For you made me hang on When I didn't want to Gave me hope to be strong And change out of the blues 'Cause your giving was my greatest trip I want to thank you for your friendships On shivering ground you were my rocks You were the trees I could lean against The fresh mountain air filling my lungs You made the sun shine in an instant You showered me with belief Thinking that I could fly Gave me reasons to breathe The tears of joy to cry 'Cause your giving was my greatest trip I want to thank you for your friendships My pictures on the wall again Because of all my pricless friends What would I do without you And for as long as I will live Everyday I will try to give Directions around the blues I'd take a bullet for you oh, for any one of you I know I may step outside the ring But everything I do is in good faith Want to make you feel the way I do Like a new born child clear of mistakes Craddled in mamas arms So innocent and sweet Covored with baby charm Just feeling your heart beat 'Cause your giving was my greatest trip I want to thank you for your friendships |
