"Somewhere Down The Road Someday" (04/05/03) You've lite up my life with your music I can only hope and pray That I can do the same for someone Somewhere down the road someday Someday, Someday, Oh, Somewhere down the road someday... Your voice are walking advertisment For the person I have become Can't see your well ever running dry You'll live until music gets hung Filled this box to the edge with hope You gave me a map and a road Faith to find my way... Faith to find my way back home to town And become civilized again Feel the pale streetlights upon my face And the strength of paper and pen I wrote the bridge surviving takes Because I'm owning my mistakes For you taught me well... For you taught me well through your music And messages straight from your heart I'm passed the tombstones stretching shadows Upon a hill side comes the dark Cause I found the switch on the wall Found out help is a strong mans call Not a weak mans voice Not a weak mans voice... You light up my life with your music I can only hope and pray That I can do the same for someone Somewhere down the road someday Someday, Someday, Oh, Somewhere down the road someday... |

Someday: A word that means we have something to look forward to. Truely a great write. +Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood.+ |
