Ok, so I'm not really new my old username was stellarchica but I never liked that one so..I made a new one. Yes so onto my poem. Life is so anticlimatic. He mutters to himself in a voice ridden with contempt. The last blaze of glory from his nicotine torch burns his fingertips. Already burnt out. Without him even taking a single drag. And he thinks to himself: Irony? Hardly. Typical. And so he throws the night's one saving grace to the ground. Smothers its final embers. Walks away. Thinks: Typical. |

wow, I really like your style, it is very unique and thought provoking..I loved this part: "Irony? Hardly. Typical." And the last line; " he thinks: Typical." One of the exceptionally great pieces I've read recently, I'll be lookin' for more.. ~lexy [This message has been edited by Lexy (05-02-2003 09:48 PM).] |

Flows very nicely... I like how you put his thoughts into it. Really great... |
