He doesn't care for me anymore.
I don't think he ever did.

Words prove true in
The bitter end.
Emotions go flying
With no remorse
For the hurt that they cause.
I'm nothing.
A single soul that awaits
Darkness.
A single soul that awaits
Torment.
A single soul that awaits
Emptiness.
And wishing with everything
Left in my heart
That I didn't care.
That I didn't love.
That I would just give up
And finally let go.
But I can't...
It's so hard.
I wish it weren't
But I have no control at this point.
My heart does what it wants to
And my mind just follows along
Never losing pace.
And as my whole body screams
Wanting to be heard
...I know you will not listen.
You manipulate me
And you know it's true.
I'm like a puppet you pull along
Just for amusement.
But when it comes to a battle of whits
I can never win.
You pick out every detail,
Using my words against me
In a war that I will soon
Surrender to.
Because you have that power over me.
You can make me fall to my knees,
Beg for forgiveness,
And pretend everything is fine.
It's not.
It never will be.
I don't know why I even bother anymore.
I don't need this.
I don't deserve this.
I don't want to be the one
You always run to in the end.
I thought you were something different
Once something flawless in my eyes,
But now I see you for what you are;
Consistent in lying...
Responsible for my hurt...
Yet constantly on my mind...*

If I had to pick a title for your poem it would be "The Bitter End" anyways...it was a great write!

If you arent happy, then just laugh...people wont know why and the look on thier faces is sure to make you happy!

Wow. The emotions in this one are so similar to some of the ones I've felt recently.

I hope things get better for you... remember that as hard as it is to believe it, NO guy is worth your tears.

loved every line of ur poem it was touching,deep and very much filled with emotion.u know a good name i'd suggest ...Mixed Emotions or...A Battle Of Feelings.what u think?

my title would be something off the wall, cause thats how i always am, but if it were me i would call it, tragedy deep, or something to that effect! good write though, amazing details!
