I'm not really sure what prompted this one..It makes sense to me but I'm curious to know if it does to you.

A time encountering moment, the beauty deep within
Left to weep away in quickening sadness
With the last sweet caress of skin

The tapestry of thought provoking images
The intricacy of the mind and it's illusions
Keeping the steady heartbeat to it's pulsing rhythm

All that always has been and all that always was
Show in elobrate facades the need for pure simplicity
In the showering of life forms from within the soul

As in all things paranormal to ourselves
We look through a twisted mirrored glass
At an idea controverisal to our expression of difference

So for the fleeting moment, of the sight inside what we already know
We cling to what is knowledgeable, something happy in abstraction
to which we hold that last soft caress of our essence
Through the beauty of skin to the mind

Always strive for excellence never perfection.

I'm surprised this wonderful poem hadn't gotten any replys yet. I love the way it moves, like fluid, and speaks. Well done!

you strive for excellence and you have surely achived it..I sit now in envy of this beautiful work...however, this must be my stupid day, because this is the second time today that I couldn't quite put a grasp on the meaning...I'm quite sure it's not a matter of vague writing, but more likely of the stupid pill I inedvertantly ingested today...great work...should've made it a book submission.

Jeremy

Be it in the truest form, or a desperate lack thereof, fail not to understand that the inspiration is love.

Thanks for the replies you guys. I was sad that it hadn't gotten any but now it has a few yay! Jeremy don't worry I'm sure it's just one of those days..The meaning is kind of hard to grasp but it is done so on purpose so that it could be taken several different ways to the reader! Anyways thanks again for the comments
