Never Come Back Never Ending Road You can never come back. Walking down the never ending road. Bombed out apartment complexes. A child's broken toys lay in the street. It's been a bitch of a nuclear winter. The American flag no longer flying. The wars lost all the soldiers dying. On peace they gave up on trying. It's not poetic this injustice. The sky was no longer blue but black. The clouds red with the angels blood. Don't need to die. This world's already death. You can never come back. Walking down the never ending road. What else in this world is left? This one is going to be published in a book for Poetry.com and also I have a chance at winning 10,000 dollars in the contest it's also entered in on Poetry.com |

Good job! Very descriptive... ~J.Lynn "In life you must dance like no one is watching, sing like no one is listening and love like it's never going to hurt..." |
