Dreaming thoughts of new days where the reality of today fades away; when all is not lost that I know and the world makes sence once more. Sometimes I long ot find a state of mind that has no burden; a state of mind where i can finally relax. I no longer want to be burdened with the harsh realities of life, not that I want to die, just to move past my own limitations. Life is at a standstill... not progressing! When will I ever be free?! Free from myself, and everything I submit myself to Will I ever find my salvation?! I have to try! I have to rise above myself Because I only limit my own exsistence! If i just look deep inside, I can find a better me. The person I long to be... is my true self, my inner me!! [This message has been edited by sing'n fool (04-22-2003 11:40 AM).] |

This one hit a nerve big time. I can really relate to your feeling in this work. Wonderful write, I'm really looking forward to reading some more of your writtings. I am in total and complete awe after reading your poem. It's amazing how a poem can do that to a person. "If i just look deep inside, I can find a better me. The person I long to be... is my true self, my inner me!!" My fave part is right there! While I was reading this I couldn't believe how well I can relate to what you're saying.
