Ocean Of Tears

0 posted 2003-04-18 08:06 PM

Self infliction,
Keeps reappearing,
Troubling my thoughts,
Cutting my wounds,
Bringing me down...
Ever so quickly,
I've never been so lost in my self,
Struggling to break through,
Waiting for the moment of liberation,
When I can finally say...
"I love myself."

"The reason I talk to myself is that I'm the only one whose answers I accept."

I really liked that poem,  Made me think about who I was and if I had freed myself yet,  Very nice.

I love this poem!!
It expresses the emotions very well!
I especially love the line, "I've never been so lost in myself."
And the last line ends the poem perfectly.
Great Job!
