Pen in her hand She writes her words on paper Her only means Of escaping reality Clearing her mind She places her feelings On each line Letting herself go Through each stanza Leaving all bad memories As memories alone Her writing gets swifter The poem flows over her Releasing herself Of all her anguish All the problems of the world Diminish before her It’s only her and the writing Pen in her hand She writes her words on paper Her only means Of escaping reality * "In life you must dance like no one is watching, sing like no one is listening and love like it's never going to hurt..." |

Absolutely loved this! Fantastic work. I'm not one to do a full critique very often, but I'd have to say there is not much here to critique anyway. Great! And its so true ... isn't it?
