I'm alone in this world and precious time is
takeing over.
It gets slower eveyday.
Seems like the days are so long and never end.
I just want it to stop.
I stop searching for that reason.
I stop walking.
I stand and wait for it to come and find me.
I awake with the sounds of things erupting like a
cloud on a streak.
I look into all that I can but find no reason to
live.
Maybe I can just sit and wait.
Rot and whither with this life until nothing is
left but transparent light.

this is the first poem I've read on this site after about a 3 year absence...I'm glad because I enjoyed and can actually related to it at this point in my life.
