A Confession Tales of a lifetime, Close to my heart I hold dear These secrets you may never know. Alone I think of the future, the present, the past. People approach, and still these feelings I have, I keep them to myself. Days filled with happiness Bring delight, and a calm solemnity. Sadness though, with or without tears, Rain on the skies and enshroud them in gloom. Sorrows, joys, triumphs, failures: They come one after another. Which path am I to choose? It is but predestined fate that These approach in time. Anger? Jealousy? Grief? No, there is nothing I want more than To think out these troubles, For they will soon cease to be, And I do want to tell you. Let the minds intertwine: Concerns with relief; problems with solutions. If you only knew the truth… Sometimes I hear you talk And there you are close by. Other times I see you, but in fact You are far, far away. I do not shy myself from you. If you come to me I will speak, Revealing my mind, my thoughts, my soul. Silence and mystery, once known, are broken, But I awaken in the midst of a forgotten puzzle. Is it a virtue? Or a false destiny? Let me a while and I shall Put these pieces together, Before they get lost in An ever-expanding history. One day the moment will come when Dreams become reality and the stories be told. Until then, let them be. Everything takes in the a plot of an Unfinished story, but I hope It will never end, that it may go on and on And we will hold on to our memories.
