The constant yet, sporadic, patter of the rain seems to scatter my concentration and ease the pain In the beginning there was this euphoric elation but now I struggle in vain to maintain, to remain, to perservere In the beginning I was naive unable to hear the coming tragedy I didnt know then that you had come to conquer to desecrate what meant the most to me what I held sacred My thoughts My love My trust Now, Here I am lying on the floor in the rain trying hard to make myself overcome the pain lost in the wake of my mistakes so hard to breathe never had a chance... the puddles around me ripple in a rhythmic dance focus... Inhale... Exhale... I can feel the blood drain from my face as it pales all the time, wasted, in vain... time seems to slow nothing else matters the pain consumes if I could only wake from this dream I would change it all to avoid this fall |

Wow...this is one of the best things I've read in awhile. I don't really know how to compliment it because I don't think I can do it justice. I just thought it was very powerful and very beautifully worded. Amazing job! Kay The day you were born, you were born free |
