Love leaves too many scars places my heart behind so many bars Life for too many years has brought pain and too many tears She caused me so much pain even so I'd do it over again Love has done so much to me leaving deep wounds for eternity Life left too many scars but the light in her eyes twinkled like stars Love brought so many tears for loves lost and these burdensome fears She meant so much to me and her smile shines through my memory -"Poet Nascitar, Non Fit" |

smiling here, quite pretty, this is. And love remembered even through the pain is always worth the effort of recalling. |

The last stanza is a nice touch, it finishes the poem just right. You have my vote for this one. Hope everything heals up. WinterWren |

This reminds me of that song by Garth Brooks, the Dance. It's very good I enjoyed reading this. But lately I have been wondering, if a love lost really is better then never having loved at all. I'm not sure anymore. ex animo, Aaron IN NOMINE PATRI ET FILII ET SPIRITUS SANCTI |

I really liked this poem, quite creative!!! You have a sweet heart and a burdened soul, I hope it all turns out alright!!! Jenn **It's better to be hated for who you are, than loved for who you are not** |
