Standing In Silence...

Reflecting in the moonlight,
I saw a single tear shed.
You had told me that,
It wasn't what I said.

Yet you thank me...

But I saw those tears,
Glistening in your eyes.
And I knew at once it was me,
Your face wearing a disguise.

Yet you thank me...

Though I can't take it back,
I can help you heal.
And no I will not lie,
I'll just show you what's real.

And still you thank me...

You say I made you stronger,
how, I do not know.
The old friendship is there,
though not like it was long ago...

......And You Thank Me......
