I think the angels are tired of crying just like my dreams are tired of dying Hope is a thing better left gone all it ever brings is it's failures song Whe an angel cries another star is born whenever love dies then my heart is torn Their tears come to me like little drops of pain I taste them every day time and time again |

THIS WAS AN AMAZING POEM!!! YOU HAVE MY 100% VOTE, IT WAS SO DEEP. THE PAIN WAS DEFINITLY FEALT WITH YOUR WORDS. THIS TO ME IS ONE OF THOSE POEMS I COULD READ A MILLON TIMES AND NEVER GET SICK OF. IT REALLY MOVED ME TO READ IT AND GAVE ME A REAL STRONG FEALING OF DIFFRENT EMOTIONS BUT GOOD ONES. IT ALMOST BROUGHT TEARS TO BE COMPLETLY HONEST. ANYWAYS I LOVE YOUR WRITTINGS AND THIS DEFINETLY HAS TO BE ONE OF MY FAVORITES!!!  |

I especially liked the last stanza, a clear and unusual image, I really do like this poem, one thing though, 'when an angel cries another star is born' a star being born seems a slightly cliched image, but mabey I am just being cynical! Anyway a good write! Anya |

 (tears fall down my cheeks) And know always that the angels share your tears and are hugging you and guiding you with compassion as love will always find a way and the stars are their tears that are twinkling with understanding for how you feel! I particularly liked this. Here's why... "I think the angels are tired of crying just like my dreams are tired of dying" Beautifully written. I'm partial to anything with angels, rain, or stars in it. I am also in the midst of having a dream crushed. "Hope is a thing better left gone all it ever brings is it's failures song" The absolute single best lines I have heard in a long while. I can't put into words how much I enjoyed these lines. Let's just say I agree with these. Everyone seems to think hope is a good thing. Fools.  Hope hurts, more then giving in. This really made me just catch my breath."Whe an angel cries another star is born whenever love dies then my heart is torn" Angel, stars. hmmm. Your hitting all my bases and saying things I agree with. "Their tears come to me like little drops of pain I taste them every day time and time again" And now a metaphor of rain, pain, and tears.
