Something I wrote today.  Just sat down in one of my classes and this is what I came up with.  Not my best work, but not my worst.  Let me know what you think!

SHORTFALLING

I know sometimes I fall short
I turn back to the world as a last resort
When I get lost and start to feel
As if I were alone, as if You’re not real

But I know Your love
And the heavens up above
I try to live my life for You
Sometimes that is hard to do

In this life I know I do wrong
I have followed the world way too long
Here I am, Lord, use me for good
Help me to be the man I should

If someboy laughs at me, does that make me funny or just plain stupid?

I'm assuming the last word should be should...(it came out as sh on my screen.)
I liked this very much, and no its definitely not one of your worst...
Though you don't seem to have many of those.

I liked that one,  my favorite lines were:

"I know sometimes I fall short
I turn back to the world as a last resort"

I thought it was a really good opening to the poem.

Cody~
I know I've said it before, but I love how open you
are in not being afraid to write about your faith.
This is a wonderful expression of your faith, and
it's FAR from a 'worst' write from you.
As a matter of fact, it's one of my favorites.
Beautifully written, Cody.

anyways nice write, i'm glad you shared that with us.
