some where deep in the shadows

smile,
and a tiltering laughter..
this moment keeps running through my head,
just like how you ran from me
alone in the darkness..
forever more
all i have is my shadows,
and heavy heart that ties me here
why do i pretend to live?
i could close my eyes
and dream this life away
a new life for me..
one without you
thats all i ask
and all i ever wanted

hmm its not very good kinda have other things on my mind than my own problems

I liked this poem a great deal, free verse is the way to go

"Why do I prtend to live, I could close my eyes and dream this life away." I liked that part. I think it was good, kinda general, not too personilized, easy to relate to. Thanks for sharing.
