What’s life worth if not to be loved? If not to care and be cared for If not to need and be needed If not to hold and be held I wish you still loved me, I still need you so bad I’d give anything and everything for you If only you’d come crawling back I cared for you like no other ever could, I risked everything I know, I gave you my damaged trust, That is now totaled and nothing but dust I need you now, Like I needed you then, I guess that will never happen, You’re out of my life, and I’m still holding on I dream of holding you close, Doing things we never had a chance to do, We’d fall asleep in each other’s arms, And wake up to the morning’s dawn Love me.. Care for me.. Need me.. Hold me.. |
