What went wrong, what did I do
Why can’t I have and hold you
You said you liked me, then took it away
All I wanted was for you to stay
Stay true in my heart, and never let me go
What feelings are there for me, do you even know
If it’s not meant to be, then why do I still care
Why do I hold on to the feelings we once shared
I know somewhere in your heart you see the real me
And the touch of my hand sets your heart free
What are you afraid of? The feelings you hold?
Just looking at you makes my blood run cold
What kind of man would deny what’s so right
To get what you want, you must be ready to fight
Your warm embrace when my feelings are down
Make me want you even more, my face begins to frown
I can’t have what I want, because you won’t admit
Who I am intrigues you, but your feelings don’t fit
You don’t want to love me, so you put it out of your mind
You look at other girls, but can’t leave me behind
You need to sort out your life, and then you will see
Your one true love has always been me!

I really liked this poem...I think this is something I could've written! LOL. I like when I can find a poem I relate with so much as to think I could write about the same thing. I think this was a great write and I hope to see many more from you.

i can totally relate to that in this point in time ... it's neat to read a poem that just fits to your feelings so perfectly that you almost question who wrote it.
