Intentions

I wanna know your intentions for us,
I liked you and I thought you liked me.
But now when I'm around you
it's like there's something there I just can't see.

When you asked me for commitment
you're timing was worse than ever.
The way you popped the question
there was no way we could have been together.

You tell me you're not going out with her
that it was just a date, that was it.
And you tell all your friends you still really like me,
as for her, just a little bit.

Now I hear you've made her promises
to not go out with anyone but her.
So tell me now, what's the difference,
will you ever make up your mind for sure?

You say that when you're done with her
you plan on coming back to me.
What makes you think I'll still be here,
just so I can keep you company?

I'm not just some convenience
that you pick up when it's right for you.
You're gonna have to understand that
for your intentions to ever be true.

If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Megan, this is so very heartaching, sweet friend, it can be frustrating when one can't make up ones mind and you just wish you could crawl into their mind and read what they're thinking to know the truth flat out! (sad sigh) My heart goes out to you, dearest friend, I hope it all works out, you have my vote, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Megan, thank you for sharing!
