Yesterday's sneakers thrown into the closet, another pair so sound asleep in the burrow of forgets I truly can't remember it Not any of it really, not the whispers, or the land, or the hands of nonparticular boys I lick my lips to find the taste all gone and only flesh that's dry and sore 10.22.02 As you can see I wrote this quite a while ago. I just found it in a pile of papers. I think that I had abandoned it for a while to see if something would come. I think I like it the way it is though. the faeries creep into my hair at night leaving it in terrible knots [This message has been edited by Jaime (02-28-2003 11:14 AM).] |
