I need someplace to rest my head, someplace at all to lift the load of the day. Someplace to fall away. Never, never land, is a land I'll never find. So I'll drift through the foggy days, my head up in the clouds, my blank and lonely stare. My cold and empty nights. I need someone to feel my skin, to mend this ache, that never ends. I fall within, to my dreams and fanaties, I live my life, shun reality. Harsh colors, I choose not to see. Its now I rest my head, and fall away. And pray to make it through this dawning day. |

I really, really liked the first three lines, I thought it opened up the piece nicely and gave a good link to the title without shoving it obviously in your face. Well done. ~I haven't memorized all of the cute things to say but I'm working on it~ |
