I DID post this in Reflections on the web, and I know we're not supposed to post the same poem in more than one forum, but more people know my work here. Sorry if it caused anyone trouble. I've journeyed far and wide Looking for something I couldn't find And now Im going home. I'd run so far away from there That I thought I would never want to return But now I can't wait to reach the door. Yesterday I didn't miss it Today I can't wait to reach it And tomorrow I'll be happy Because now Im going home. I'll always keep in my memory The things I've seen in the wide world Beautiful and inspiring and so different in their turn But I'll love them more when I reach home. When I saw all these impressive sights I knew something was missing, Something not quite right And now I know I was missing my home. I've journeyed far and wide Looking for something I will soon find Because now Im going home. Nicely done!! I really like this one, it is one of your better ones in my opinion! I thin everyone has that feeling sometimes.. when something just seems to be missing and you realize that you just miss home..Anyways doen reflectling now! Wonderful job I enjoyed it very much! ~Live and Laugh~ People always ask me why I don't look toward my future I tell them to many interesting things are happening today. |

Feel free to post the poem here a second time, in order to share it with friends who might not see it in Reflections (though they should visit there, too!), but you cannot submit it twice for publication. Obviously, we're not going to publish the same poem twice in the same book and you're just competing with yourself by trying. |

Bela: *grins* Thank you! Im glad you like it so much! I submitted this one for the book in hopes that the majority could relate to it. Ron: Oops, did putting it here mean I submitted it for publication twice? That wasn't my intent, thank you for the comment. WinterWren |
