I never asked for dark winter nights,
With you dressed in your favorite shade of angst.
Even the moon couldn't brighten up your eyes,
And you've got no place to turn,
When every song you hear is a sad one,
And ever silver lining has a cloud.

I liked this. The last verse gave me the impression that there was a spelling error. I'm not sure, but you might want to check that. Anyhow, good poem, and catchy title.

This has to be one of my favorite poems at pip. Im blown away, short but sweet.
I can relate. Another one for my library.

Thanks guys. It's funny because I had this poem posted on here for like 2 weeks and I assumed it would be one of those ones that just never got any replies but now it's back towards the top of the board.
