Let me decide. Not quite grown, and still around. Although I took the wheel- You're determined to steer. You cannot begin, to understand- how your doubt astounds me. Yes, I love you, of course I do! But you treat me, as if I'm helpless. Immature and young? Incapable? Hardly. Open your eyes, It's time to see: That little girl, is a woman of twenty. Let me decide. I may be wrong, and I just might lose. But it's up to me, and not for you to choose. I feel as if- I'm living for everyone else. It's my life, but only if I do it your way. Living for others, just confuses me more. Indentity lost in the shuffle. You've done me no wrong- and your feelings are understood. I will always appreciate you. But now I must take a stand, of course I may still need your hand, but for now- please, let me decide. And have a little faith, I'll be okay. For my father. "Now I'm convinced that he's heaven sent, and must be out of his mind- mama he's crazy, crazy over me." |

Living for everyone else---I know that one too well. I also see it around me much too often. Hmmm---at least you know and unwillingly are forced to do such. I enjoyed reading it...it hit home abit for me! I'll look into a few more of your works! Vekrdehk fyc dra uhmo drehk E fyc kuut yd...pid, yd maycd E ymfyoc vuikrd vun fryd E pameajat eh... |
