Colors My heart was black. Now it's gone to gray. You're shoulder was so cold, Used to push me away. My heart returns to black, From that dreary gray. Until you come back, My black won't see day. Try as I may, It won't turn back. Switching to and from gray, From and to black. I can see you, you and your color. Can't believe it's true. I just get paler, Instead of changing hue. I can't be yellow, My happiness can't continue. I can't get red, You say I really can't get fumed. I can't reach blue, You say my depression isn't true. OMG~that was great~i luv the whole color metaphoric thing in poems! i did that once describing my tears. u should read it and tell me wut u think.Again~that was a GREAT poem u wrote!! |
