"His Song" (25/01/03) © 2003 Brian Eggertsen, All Rights Reserved Verse 1 Walking through the haze of the smoking gun, The toughest walls crack when fear starts to run. Concreate tears bleeding beneath broken hearts, Life's gasping to breathe when love cannot start. Verse 2 He's trashing romance like dirty wrappers, But it's so easy when nothing matters. Dusty strings play the Alabama blues, In a shattered mind no one knows the truth. Chorus This is the song behind an empty man, Who isn't strong and doesn't understand. The life he lives, the time he gives. This is the song behind a lonely man, He's painted gone lone in the crowd he stands. Tryna make it, tryna take it. But he can't he's too far gone, This is His Song... Verse 3 Two hatching hands are reaching out for him, His reflection's invisible again. The steal pole's grumbling under his belief, His scar tissue jar's fragile as an autumn leaf. Chorus Bridge He walks on the railroad of illusion in his head, He talks through heavy loads while he's trying to forget. Where he is and where he's been, Praying for never again. Chorus |

You write a lot of songs don't you? do you have a band or something? or do you write them just for writing them? I like this one...depending on the music you would have written for it. nice me likes! ~Stace Boredom is killing me... |
