This is a song I wrote today in history after I finished a quiz. It was inspired by a song by a group called Philmore... Anyway, Just kinda somethin that I came up with. Let me know what you think SHE CAN WALK ON WATER I bought me a goldfish Just the other day There's other fish in the sea At least that's what they say My time with her isn't the same As with those that came before She's just a fish out of water She lays around and flops on the floor Chorus: But she can walk on water She'll never cease to amaze When she swims in her bowl I could be entertained for days She won't be the one, though That I'll settle down with She only remembers a few seconds And she forgets it all on the fifth Chorus Just this winter one cold night We sat by the fire just after dawn The water in her bowl boiled over No she rests in peace down the john Chorus - Cody - |

So strange. I like it; songwriting is more natural for me then poetry. ~Titus "A life unexamined is not worth living." -Socrates [This message has been edited by PoetryIsLife (01-18-2003 02:22 PM).] |
