I know you'll never come back
My mind is set on that
But my heart thinks different

It keeps saying you will come back
That you'll hold me again
But It's not true

Your past is your past
To quote your own words
And I am your past

I'll never be able to kiss you again
I'll never be able to hold you again
I'll never feel you touch me again

I know it's true in my mind
But in my heart it's different
And it will not change

Please help me
I can't be torn like this
I must have peace

I know you wont come back to me
But please change this
Please let my heart rest

You have already broken my heart
But please be humane
And let it let go of your memory

I'll die if it doesn't

Read my work and read my thoughts
I'll go back into the night now

Hi...This was pretty good. It's how I feel sometimes...well it's how I've been feeling for the past year almost lol. But things are a lot better now. I'm over him...at least I think I am! But who knows, my friends think differently. I love the way you worded the whole thing. Great job! ~*~Kirah~*~
