Shades of Gray

I see my world in shades of gray
with knowere left to turn
Blue's and golds evade my sight
and my candle does not burn

I see my world in shades of gray
with knowere left to go
I've wandered away my childhood years
with nothing left to show

I see my world in shades of gray
never any pink's or green's
tears come on an empty face
and the world remains unseen

I see my world in shades of gray
with no more dreams to come
no more laughing smiling faces
my world has come and gone

I see my world in shades of gray
everywhere I look
with broken houses and empty homes
of the happiness that life took

I see my world in shades of gray
what happened to the sun
Evening clouds and morning mist
A daughter that was shunned

I see my world in shades of gray
the beauty of life is gone
Black and white are my colors now
and soon I will pass on

heyYy this was reallly good, i feel like this sumtimes :-(
i love these lines:

Thanks for replying! I really like this poem even though it is a bit deppressing! Anyone else have any comments??
