Often hidden, often not
everything to some, but
for others, sheer boredom.
Use your hands, if you like
the mind of a little tike.
Any way, shape, form,
use it! use it! use it!
Come, now! What is this?

Stepping back? From me?
Why must you be so?
Trying to steer your thoughts
to what you're seeking.
Don't you see? I'm your key.

What is it? Can you guess?
A pathway to power,
a fall from grace, so swift.
What does it leave? Seen.
What does it take? Unforeseen.

A charade of lies and passions,
of weakness and strength,
need and want
greed
or hate.

Every day, all around,
only you know you are blind.

Or not.

Speak.

Hey!! I really liked this one! It was a most injoyable(sp??) read! I actually sat here and tried to figure it out I love that this poem really makes me think. I came up with innocence or the mind. Am I right?? Tell me what the right answer is!! Very well done!
