stains on the glass rimmed with frost ice hangs from my words against the steel it seems as blue as a pale oceans contrasting against the tones tones of silence andd torture turned against but my love will come back to my breath sweet melodys aren't enough to bring it's soul if only a wish could give upon a star would i have as much as i wish no moon beams give away my identity to the more foolish of sorts that can't understand but life shall know, for i told it secrets in my mind, acting as diaries of lines that couldn't care more or less what i think kind of like people i know or know me blood drips down the black walls life falls back into its order once again Morning mist clings to my face, and my soul opens up to you...... |

As usual, a great poem with lots of very vivid imagery. I always like the idea of the contrast between red blood and white snow. And black ebony. OK, maybe I've seen "Snow White: A Tale Of Terror" one too many times (it's the gothic horror version with Sigourney Weaver). Anyhoo, nice write. Liked the description. Hi Riley Good to see you posting again. I think I'll be reading this one a few more times, in hopes of grasping the full meaning. Lots to digest...but I like it. I agree that the imagery is wonderful as always. Nice job on this. ~Vicky "...until you have read the verse on his heart, you have not truly met the poet. ~vlraynes [This message has been edited by vlraynes (01-15-2003 06:27 PM).] |
