And I don't know how anyone remembers my name when everything about me feels luke warm, tepid, an average serving of mediocrity. I can't picture my features, I'm indistinct in my own minds eye. I'm thinking I can't make imprints, can my feet leave footsteps in the sand? It shocks me when people I've known recognise my face these days, can my weak words form into something individual, something alive, away from the background humming of yes, no, mabey so, can my whispered conversatins move away from the polite please? I'm just a watered down version, living a faded photograph life |
