He caressed the sounds of my heart with his eyes. He knew exactly what was in my mind. He knew how to grasp my attention. His eyes spoke every one of his intentions. He saw straight through me, seeing my desires. I could not resist it...I smelt the heat of his fire, The one that had been burning ever since he left. And now my heart tastes his depth. This taste, so familiar and sweet. Should I get a taste or give in to the heat? |

This is really good. This is a very true interpretation of how passion and lust can break a person down(not always a bad thing) I liked it a lot. Darkness |

Story of my life.. Bless you for keeping it short and thank you for the truth in this. (I have a difficult time focusing on "long" poems so I like short gems.) Good poem. - Jaime And she said, I thought I'd never see me again. |

Generally, I don't like replys like this, but all I truly have to say is, it was enjoyed, and, like Jaime said, a splendid length. My only question is: does the ending repeat itself, or did I misread the poem? ~Titus "A life unexamined is not worth living." |
