With the night sky, You'll see that I love you. |

The moon shines above me lighting the sky and making the stars visible. The eyes of my love shines upon you like a mother tending to her young. A star twinkles, a planes flies by, the moon just sits there while doing it's job. I see no one but you, I feel no one but you, I want no one but you. Each star will burn out when it's turn comes, but mine never will. I should just say that I love you. But that'd do no good. We're like the stars, The distance to far, and it will always burn out, but I will always love you. To try and hide the love in the darkness is wrong. So I'll let the moon shine through me so you can see that I really do love you. "What am I doing?" I ask myself. With no answer, my love carries on and passes through your heart and then let go like it was nothing. I've done what I could to show that I love you, but now I leave it to you to figure the rest. Look at the moon, Look at the stars, They are telling you, that I love you. *Mistakes are made, you pay for them, then you do it again.* ~*~Love doesn't make the world go 'round, it just makes the ride worthwhile~*~ [This message has been edited by Acies (02-06-2003 12:59 PM).] |

Ah, love poetry. For some, the easiest to write. For others, the easiest to connect to. For all, it,s easy to understand. For me, it happens to be all three. Good job. Love conquers all, so I must be in a losing battle. |

LOL! ^ He still dosen't know who you are! LOL! *sobs* It's....so... beuatiful!... lol. *sigh* It's a great poem, I really enjoyed it, a refreshing refrain to the past, if only for a moment. I'm sure whoever this is about (^.-) get's the message. I'm also sure his face turned red when he realized *he* was the subject.. lol. I'll have to look up more often when i'm outside at night, though I got a nice look at the sky tonight, when the power went out. Yes, the stars do make great mesengers, carrying messages of love to those too far apart to speak the words themselves. Even if one is unsure of where he stands, as I am. (I'm listening to a love song that inspired these words, "When You Love A Woman" by Bryan Adams) *~Rich~* "You can't hurt meee!! 'Cause I've got on my cheeeeese helmet!" |
