"The Hardest Thing In This World Is To Live In It" (31/12/02) © 2002 Brian Eggertsen, All Rights Reserved Intro (Spoken) The hardest thing in this world is to live in it Verse 1 Another war's nippping at our heals Humanity shows it's true face, Hunger is drulling on our carpet Leaving a stain we can't erase. Every six minutes a woman's rapped By such man's behavoir I'm descusted, We keep on throwing salt in the wound Just wanna say one love for justice. 'Cause... The hardest thing in this world is to live in it. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it. Verse 2 I know that there is children out there Whose lost a farther or a mother, And love one's just tell them to hang on Though nothing brings peace or order. Frustratted mother's raising their kids Works more than one job to previde, For clothes, for food, and what they call home Practicly just tryna survive. For... The hardest thing in this world is to live in it. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it. Bridge No one ever listens to the little morning bird sing, Because no one ever cares about what tomorrow bring. Everyones too busy to notice the small things these days, A promise has lost all meaning within this clouded haze. Spoken The hardest thing in this world is to live in it. (Instrumental piece) Verse 3 If the rain forest dies so do we But no one has cast that a thought, As long as they are getting profit For the piece of land that they bought. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it. Tag (repeat until fade ) The hardest thing in this world is to live in it. |

Wow that's REALLY good. I wish I could write music. Too bad I can't. Oh well. Nice job, I'll be listening to my radio non-stop when that one hits the air. |

Awesome. Absolutely awesome. The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears. |

yes, it is tough to live in the world. People born to suffer the pain, then they turn to earthly pleasure...eat, car, clothes, etc...sad...sad... I wish I can write music too...you're talent. Eliza Simmons |

Kinda' reminds of an old Fish song about the Vietnam War. Good write. Love conquers all, so I must be in a losing battle. |

Well, lyrical poetry has never been my thing, but I really liked this. I couldn't put muic to it to save my life, but I'm just not good at that. I'd like to see what could be done if these were to wind up in the right hands (a.k.a. not mine) and actually be put to music. If you ever do that... could you let your friends here at pip know? We'd all love to see that! Later! *~Rich~* "You can't hurt meee!! 'Cause I've got on my cheeeeese helmet!" |
