I'm twenty now, what does this mean? No longer can I be a teen? Am I too old or am I too young? Mapping out life is not very fun. I wanna be thirteen, careless and bold. I wanna be fourteen, don't do what I'm told. I wanna be fifteen, re-live my first kiss. I wanna be sixteen, drivers ed I don't miss. I wanna be seventeen, hopeful and free. I wanna be eighteen, the worlds mine to see. I wanna be nineteen, college parties galore. I don't wanna be twenty no more. Twenty is hard, I have to figure out me life is my canvas; what will I paint? twenty is full of responsibilities So don't grow up too fast; just wait. --Alana [This message has been edited by Laney (12-18-2002 09:41 PM).] |

Laney~ A good message in this, indeed. One should never be in too big a hurry to grow up. It will come soon enough, and with it, all the responsibilities and decisions that life brings. You've expressed it well...nicely done. ~Vicky "...until you have read the verse on his heart, |

I enjoy being fifteen, but if life gets beeter as I go on, I won't miss it one bit. Good write. Love conquers all, so I must be in a losing battle. |
