right now,
the only thing i know,
is how much i hate this place,
and how badly i want to go home.
because i just can't bear,
to see the look on your face,
when you gaze down at her,
to avert your gaze.
as i sit across the room,
with my face a mask of pain.
you act like we've never even,
held each other before.
and you pretend,
not to know my name.
and i just can't stand,
the naive way,
in which she grasps your hand,
too gently propel you,
across the room.
the way i used to do.
but most of all i hate,
how after one year's time,
my heart still breaks,
everytime i see your face.

Nice release, Bergundy. I think I remember a girl who used to post as Bergundy under another screen name... do you know a guy named Tony that posted a long time ago?

thanks for the responses and whatnot...it was weird cause i wrote this poem awhile ago lol. i think tony bumped it, hey tony. i miss you! come online! anyway..thanks again.
