A Nuance Of Two Stroke your nuance of yes over my soul Lead me into dreams when touch is whole Take the fire that I spread over and in And breathe your heat onto my soft skin Brush my face with your words of delight Then dance in mind until the eve of night Cloak my form in your poetic thought And show me the signs of what I have sought Join me in poetic dance in my mind Let’s roam in the glades of dragon’s find Shade my soul with sighs of wordy starlight Paint my smile in hues of fire’s night Breathe the words of poetic voice to me While strolling through your soul dreamily Take me there to that place once more my friend Then leave me there until time does end I’ll dance the steps of wonder in your glade Wrap myself in wisps of dreamer’s shade Trip over the threshold of your mind’s dare Wander in places neither here nor there If you’ll whisper words of your poet’s voice Offer me reasons and lots of choice If you will gift me with the breath of this The fire’s heat of your poet’s kiss Come taste a nuance of my poet’s sin These thoughts of such stoke my soul within Marsha Breathe through the heat of our desire Thy coolness and they balm Let sense be dumb let flesh retire Speak through the earthquake wind and fire [This message has been edited by Marsha (08-28-2002 06:21 PM).] |
