SQUARE ONE Roll the dice, what will it be? Will it be good; is luck with me? This game of life has no instructions Just simple pieces with complex functions Who is my friend? Who is not? What is the prize? I have forgot. Roll the dice, what will it be? Where is the end? I cannot see. This game is unfair, what is the deal? Greed is my friend and love is surreal. Who is in charge? I want to suspend. Your words are useless, shut up my friend. Pay attention, it’s your turn to roll. Where will you go? You’re in control. One wrong move and “sorry, you’re done” This game is over, you’re back to square one. By Jordan Aarts |
