Opal Harbor By: Noah Eaton 8/27/02 Sauntering down the waterfront All alone, staring out at the ships Walking from Bazaar del Mundo in the pale moonlight Hearing seagulls cry through the balmy mist I wait here in the soft evening light For the dolphins to jump to the moon The rain is falling heavily on me It feels like an Indian monsoon I wait for your message in a bottle I wait to finally embrace you It can feel so lonely here... Well I can see your stars up above High up in the red Baia skies Above where I dream away and yearn to fly Out on Opal Harbor Waiting for you to jump into my arms Wanting to hold you... Wanting to hold you... Making my way down the Gaslight Quarters Along Harbor Drive, the neon lights are bright tonight Bazaars fill the sky, it's raining like a summer day in Bogota I feel the western wind through the twilight I wait here in the soft evening light For the dolphins to jump to the moon The rain is falling heavily on me It feels like an Indian monsoon I wait for your message in a bottle I wait to finally embrace you It can feel so lonely here... Well I can see your stars up above High up in the red Baia skies Above where I dream away and yearn to fly Out on Opal Harbor Waiting for you to jump into my arms Wanting to hold you... Wanting to hold you... I feel your tango soul You nictitate like a senorita I taste the salt of your whispers Like a coconut margarita I hear the guava sea beckoning Beating like a samba I wait for you here... Well I can see your stars up above High up in the red Baia skies Above where I dream away and yearn to fly Out on Opal Harbor Waiting for you to jump into my arms Wanting to hold you... Wanting to hold you... "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." Shakira [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (08-27-2002 11:48 PM).] |

A beautiful piece Noah...could feel the balmy breezes...and see dolphins jump to the moon. What a wonderful sight. ThisDiamond |

Another beautiful poem from our dear Noah. Well done!! Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

Noah, This is a beautiful poem. I could just picture you there on the beach. You write so discriptively and beautifully. I really enjoyed it. Allison |
