Inspired by Elizabeth Santo's beautiful words, I thought I'd share a little something I wrote for my Mother last Mother's Day. It's not as good as "Look to the Stars" but of the same theme. Love..in this case, a Mother's. Enjoy SHE She is the calm before the storm She is the break of day She is the light within my life That holds the dark at bay She held me close in Mother's womb She fed me with her love She pushed me out into the world To fly...... A snow white dove.. |

Madame Chipmunk..My Mother holds her "piece" on her wall. I presented it to her last Mother's Day and I can honestly say it is a gift better worth giving than the most costliest stone..Her tears where my own on that day..and it is a memory I will cherish forever and a plague that I will someday bequeth my own daughter...
