There has been so many times I felt I was 6 feet from the edge And I have thought of jumping But somebody always pulls me back Pulls me back to reality And shows me life is still worth living Cold hands means a warm heart |

Life is worth living as long as I have you Julie. What is life without poetry and adventure? |

This is frightening Julie... Please don't do that!!!! Life is precious and you only have one of them as far as we know... so don't waste it and don't lose it... If you feel that way, please get help or email me and we'll talk....okay! ~ hugs from your chipmunk friend Lyra |

Double that distance from the edge, please, and then remember that you would hurt more than yourself, you would hurt all those who care about you. |

Okay Julie, The first rule is you need a harness and rope. Until you can be trusted you are just going to have to look like a mountain climber for a while! Now if it is necesarry to talk some sense into you then you know my email. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

"Hold me now, I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking, maybe six feet, ain't so far down." Hi Julie, this so reminded me of one of my favorite songs by Creed. Certainly not to make light of the poem at all. Just to show that being six feet from the edge is where a lot of us have been at one time or another. I'm so glad there were others there to pull you back. Great piece. I said so softly |

If your poem speaks the truth, read this: Falling is frightening. Once you fall you cannot stop untill you hit the ground. And you don't know what it's like down there. Before you jump, ask yourself If it is worth leaving what you have behind. Youur poem is beautiful, and reminds me of a song i love. Sometimes the best thing to do is think about the future, not the present Love your friend Liz |

Julie, I couldn't quite figure out if this poem rang the truth of your feelings or if you were just writing. I certainly hope that you didn't mean this. I know that you have a lot of friends here that you can talk to. Love To All, Ethel....your friend |
