To sleep of me (acrostic) |

The night is full of drying ink. Old white light of paper's face. Slow sky locks across like stone. Lay beneath the sleep of me. Extend hours to their names. Extract pebbles of sad dreams. Press your face to sleep of me. Offer dreams in alphabet. Follow them to rivulet. Meet the ghosts of words unsaid. Exist here in sleep of me. |

Were I to exist in sleep of thee would make of me a softened dream. Nice stuff Michael. As always, enjoyed, enjoyed enjoyed. [This message has been edited by WhiteRose (08-26-2002 02:38 PM).] |

Thanks, WhiteRose. I like how you describe your new location. And I enjoy the poem in return. Mike |

Well done and enjoyed. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

My drowsiness has gone from a personal inconvenience to being sexy, has it? Ah ha! So that's what Lori meant when she told me last night my voice sounds weird. |

Hello Michael I really enjoyed your words, so much so that I read the poem again to absorb everything. Fabulous imagery! "We drop like pebbles into the ponds of each other's souls" Take care....Sue I am in motion |

Honey-baby, you get yrself some sleep. Don't turn into me. I got 20% on a sleep-hygiene test. Tyler got 35%. I was basing mine on my habits BEFORE graveyard shifting, since it says the questions don't apply to night workers, so since my sleep habits are even worse now, I'm sure my mark'll be even lower... Um... Oops? And get better, hon. So you can find a job here. Tyler really wants you to move up here. He's already planning ways fr us to scare the locals. Besides, we're making music together again, so we need an extra body. Oh, if y' wanna test out how great yr own sleeping habits are, have a look-see here. I myself am about to sleep again for the third time in the past 36 hours. Yes, severe amounts of catching up on sleep debt. By the time I go to work again, I will have slept 4 times in 48 hours. Then I'll go back to not sleeping again until my next days off. Augh, someone shoot me with a tranquilizer, wouldja? i'll be waiting for you |

A 51 may be doin' better'n me, but you're still not doing yourself any favours. Get better at this whole sleeping thing, k? Then yr immune system will pick up and you won't get sick! So there. i'll be waiting for you |
