“REACHING OUT” by Bill Charles ~~~~ At times I climb a mountain, the highest one I can find… I see your image in the sky, long to touch you, I’m inclined… Feel breezes cool on my face, nearer to the crest, I’m there… Eyes closed in succulent harmony, submission, into the thin air… Pillows caress me, mist engulfs, sun warm through the clouds… Slowly I’m held in your arms, high, alone, above the crowds… My body no longer with chill, lips of yours, mine that complies… Magic of a women’s soft touch, I reach out, with tender sighs… ~~~~ |

Bill, Just need for you to know I still think of you and enjoy your writing. Seems there are some mighty redwoods that the wind is blowing through in this poem. I love your style. Thanks. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

So sweet and tender simply wooing the shattered of hearts, knowing that love does exist..loved this.. Kristen If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried. |
