I am afraid to wish for permission me in love with you... I am afraid I'd get the wish granted with such fortitude that it would be a monkey's paw does desire have to pay? I'm so afraid of karmic law-- I worry of the path I lathe... I want to be a warrior. I yearn to travel forest deep. I want to know what I live for-- I dream to dream, outside of sleep... Take me through this Hobbit hole-- and slake my mead, and haunt my dreams... I want to be a warrior-- and damn the monkey's drunken screech. |

the only thing that could make me happier than that reply? is a generous offering of your words, amelia...hand over heart, I truly thank you. |

I had forgotten about this one, and I thank Maureen for reminding me...(I write some odd things in a fever sometimes) but it helps to know the tale of the monkey's paw--and although there doesn't seem to be a great deal of interest, here's a link, for what it is worth: http://www.gate.net/~madonia/monkeypa.htm |

perhaps. . .I need to take mine off of my mantle. . . you know that I heard this one. . . -------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
