Working 12 hours helping out the company Because no one else wanted to All you get is head banging You go to sleep the day before As soon as you got in from work Because you promised to help All you get is head banging You rush to get out from work Because tomorrow they wanted 14 hours Plus 45 minutes for lunch And you get ticketed by security All you get is head banging It seems in your rush to get here No spaces at all were available So you parked behind trucks with trailers On a the very back end against a curb All you get is head banging Tired and frustrated you get mad Maybe you should call in sick For the head has a heart ache Why did I even try to help? For all I got was head banging For all you will have to show for it Is a ticket And one heck of a head ache Banging you to sleep Into an alarm clock Thank you officer For I finally will get a response From human resources For you gave them my number With an Excedrin #10 pill Now I will get my written response That they acknowledge my contribution Comment: You should have seen the ticket they gave me? It is a huge bright pink fluorescent stand out in your face and everybody can see embarrassment. D.Lester Young (08/13/02) Tuscaloosa, AL Copyright © D.Lester Young (White Eagle poetry) |

guess they didn't want you to lose sight of the ticket and forget to pay it. It would have been better to have a bad hair day...right? ![]() Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

And here's ALOT of head banging. I felt the frustration! Remember when we were younger and "head banging" was a good thing. ![]() [This message has been edited by WhiteRose (08-27-2002 04:45 PM).] |
